April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop: Blessed

Welcome to the April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! I can't wait to see what all of our talented consultants have to share this month. If you have arrived here from Mary's blog, you are on the right track...simply follow the links at the end of my post and each of the blogs that follow. By the time you get back here, you will be filled with inspiration! If you get lost along the way, or find links not working, you can find a complete list of hoppers on Helen's blog!

During the month of April we are featuring the beautiful Blessed stamp set. This set of 12 stamps, with both line images and solid images, is great for that fun base and shade stamping and so many other creative techniques.

While I love the neutral color palette of the new Bliss paper packet, I also see a world of possibilities by simply adding a pop of color. For my 8" x 3 1/2" card, I chose to pair the Bliss papers with a touch of Hollyhock. The line image of the long stem and leaves from the Blessed set is random stamped in Grey Wool in on Vanilla Cream to create a subtle background on the sentiment piece. The hollyhock flower is actually cut from a length of ribbon in the new Pink Collection Ribbons - isn't it FUN?!?!

Time to get hoppin'! Head on over to Adeline's blog to see what has to share with us!

Don't forget, the Blessed stamp set is only available through April for $22.95 (or at a great discount...or even FREE). See my website for all the details.

And while you're there, be sure to order the Hope for Japan set - it is only $5 and all profits go to the relief efforts in Japan! See my previous blog post for all the details!
