April SOTM: My Sunshine

March SOTM: Floral Happiness

Welcome to the March Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! Spring is almost here...the flowers are just beginning to bloom and our March Stamp of the Month, Floral Happiness is blooming too. Kid's Card-Making Workshop

Calling all crafty kids! Spring Break is just around the corner and there's no better time to get a little creative!

Join me for this fun workshop just for kids! We will use the new My Originals Matchbook Card Kit to create 12 cards (3 each of 4 designs). The 4" x 3 1/2" matchbook-style cards are fun and easy for kids to create and perfect for giving to friends!

New Product Blog Hop: Spring/Summer 2013

Welcome to the Spring/Summer 2013 New Product Blog Hop!

Nothing shouts spring nearly as much as the gorgeous new Chantilly My Reflections kit, my favorite of the Spring/Summer Idea Book. Chantilly features blooms and blossoms, as well as paisleys and birds in a fun, cheery color palette.

To create this 8" x 3 1/2" card, I paired the Chantilly papers with the new Perfect Fit-Birthday stamp set (B1417). A little ink distressing using Sweet Leaf ink makes the paper pop just a bit, and the fun Baker's Twine Hemp, found in the Wooden Accents Mini-Medley Collection ties it all together!

Here's another card featuring Chantilly and the Perfect Fit-Birthday stamp set. The Cotton Candy frame is cut on the Cricut using Close to My Heart's Artiste cartridge and stamped with the new Perfect Fit-Frames 2 stamp set (D1586)

February Workshop: For Always

The Spring/Summer 2013 Idea Book is out and more popular than ever! You can check out the online version HERE!

If you're like me, the online version is great, but there are times I love to just cuddle up with a warm blanket and my favorite beverage and look through the real thing! February Stamp of the Month: Home Sweet Home

 This 8" x 3 1/2" card features the Home Sweet Home set paired with the brand new Buzz & Bumble paper packet. The natural look and feel of the Buzz & Bumble papers just seemed a perfect fit with sentiments about "home". Tying it all together is the Hemp Bakers Twine found in the new Wooden Mini-Medley.

The striped paper on this second version of the same card is simply the back side of the bee paper! Don't you just love the versatility of CTMH papers?!?!
