May Stamp of the Month Blog Hop: Chairs to You!

Happy May! It's blog hop time again and we have a really fun set to share with you this month! If you are coming from Susan's blog, you are on the right track. If this is your first stop, thanks for coming by and be sure to click on the link at the bottom of my post to get to the next blog. We have over 50 talented Close to My Heart consultants participating, so you are sure to be inspired!

This month we are featuring the fun Chairs to You stamp set! It seems like images of home decor items have been quite popular in paper crafting for a little while now (remember when chandeliers were the must-have image?). This set features 6 adorable chairs in a variety of styles as well several sweet sentiments. My favorite is the "Chairs to You!" - so fun for cards!

Our new Mayberry My Reflections kit has that homey, comfortable feel that seemed to go well with the "Chairs to You" stamp set.
Note: I apologize for the poor quality of the photo, my camera battery is dead and my charger is missing! :-) This one was extracted from a video using my Flip Video camera - cool to know I can do that! Now on with the blog hop post...

The sweet flower buttons are from the new Basic Assortment Buttons. Once I stamped and cut out the chair. I added the tiny Mocha Opaques as upholstery accents. Fun, huh?!?! And of course, you can always count on a little 3-D Foam Tape to give your project that extra "pop". This time I popped up the chair for a little dimension.

Remember, the Chairs to You set is only available in May. Head on over to my CTMH website to see how you can get your set at a great discount or even FREE! And while you're there, be sure to check out the amazing National Scrapbooking Month special - You & Me Scrapbooking kit!

Time to hop along now! The next stop is Doreen's blog - can't wait to see what fun she has to share with us!

Simply Irresistible!

I have a new LOVE! Yes, I'll admit it, I am totally in LOVE with Close to My Heart's fabulously fun line of Irresistibles!

Irresistibles have a resist pattern that shows through when covered with ink, chalk, markers or watercolors. Just add a pop of color and these beauties just come to life to add the perfect accent to scrapbook pages, cards or any other special papercrafting project.

This layout of my daughter's school picture features the Eclectic Alphabet and the Miracle chipboard diecuts along with the Magnifique papers.

I scrapped my son's school picture with Magnifique as well, this time paired with Black instead of Cocoa. This layout also features the Eclectic Alphabet. I LOVE the variety of patterns found on the letters in the Eclectic set! The gears on this layout can be found in our recently retires All-out Adventure Rub-Ons pack. Yes, they are retired, however, they are currently listed on my website WHILE SUPPLIES LAST for only $2 - https://beth.myctmh.com/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=4513&CatalogID=1702

And for those of you who maybe wondering...YES!!!! On picture day, I did indeed dress both of my kiddos to match the Magnifique papers!

We currently feature four different Irresistibles products:

z1354-Miracle (chipboard diecuts) - $3.95

Z1390-Villa (chipboard diecuts) - $4.95

Z1395-Eclectic Alphabet (chipboard diecuts) - $6.95

Z1261-Lots of Dots Alphabet (cardstock stickers) - $4.95
Aren't they SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLE?!?!?

April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop: Blessed

Welcome to the April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! I can't wait to see what all of our talented consultants have to share this month. If you have arrived here from Mary's blog, you are on the right track...simply follow the links at the end of my post and each of the blogs that follow. By the time you get back here, you will be filled with inspiration! If you get lost along the way, or find links not working, you can find a complete list of hoppers on Helen's blog!

During the month of April we are featuring the beautiful Blessed stamp set. This set of 12 stamps, with both line images and solid images, is great for that fun base and shade stamping and so many other creative techniques.

While I love the neutral color palette of the new Bliss paper packet, I also see a world of possibilities by simply adding a pop of color. For my 8" x 3 1/2" card, I chose to pair the Bliss papers with a touch of Hollyhock. The line image of the long stem and leaves from the Blessed set is random stamped in Grey Wool in on Vanilla Cream to create a subtle background on the sentiment piece. The hollyhock flower is actually cut from a length of ribbon in the new Pink Collection Ribbons - isn't it FUN?!?!

Time to get hoppin'! Head on over to Adeline's blog to see what has to share with us!

Don't forget, the Blessed stamp set is only available through April for $22.95 (or at a great discount...or even FREE). See my website for all the details.

And while you're there, be sure to order the Hope for Japan set - it is only $5 and all profits go to the relief efforts in Japan! See my previous blog post for all the details!
