March Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

I know February is a short month, but really? Is it really March already? Sure is, and that can only mean one thing...time for another fun Blog Hop!

This month's Stamp of the Month set will have you all ready for Easter and spring. Sensational Season is filled with adorable images of classic bunnies, a garden and a basket filled to the brim with eggs.



Do you always feel like you have to use the complete image of a stamp? Look how fun it is to use just a portion of the image! For this simple 6x6 card I stamped just the top half of the single bunny stamp on a square of Colonial White cardstock. Close to My Heart markers are so easy to color with and the colors match perfectly every time. The bunny is shaded using our fabulous blending pen!



I also used the new Miracle papers and the bulk Sweet Leaf ribbon - I LOVE the wide ribbons!! A little distressing (direct to paper and scissor distressing) and a little bit of foam tape for dimension add the finishing touches.

You Give Me WINGS!

Let your creativity fly with this incredibly GORGEOUS new My Reflections Kit! If this kit looks a little familiar you're not going crazy! Wings was the focus of our January sneak peek of the Spring/Summer Idea Book. Who knew that shades of green and a deep vineyard berry with black would be such a perfect combination? It's Your LUCKY Day!

A handsome color scheme make LUCKY the perfect kit for scrapbook pages of and cards for the guys in your life...but I bet the girls will like it too! At first, the colors scream "outdoors", but old-time bicycles and a bingo board give it a unique vintage feel too. Welcome to MAYBERRY!

This fun and whimsical My Reflections kit has such a classic, small-town feel it might even have you whistling a little tune! I definitely fell in love with Mayberry as soon as I saw it in the Spring Summer Idea Book - and I think you will too. It is perfect for picnics, park days, lemonade stands and all other outdoor summer fun!

Sweet, Sweet SOPHIA

Named after the sweet granddaughter of Close to My Heart's CEO and Founder, Jeanette Lynton, the new Sophia My Reflections kit is as sweet as the sleeping baby featured on the front cover of our Spring/Summer Idea Book (that sweet baby just happens to be Sophia herself).

I've already shared a bit of Sophia with the February Stamp of the Month, but wanted to give "her" proper billing in my 8 day showcase of the brand new My Reflections kits.

Sweetheart + Friendship = A Perfect Combination

As promised yesterday…even MORE fun artwork using Friendship, the February Stamp of the Month set!

All of the fun cards I’m sharing today were created using the adorable Sweetheart My Reflections kit. Pink and black is such a classic color combo and CTMH has done it beautifully with Tulip, Cotton Candy, Baby Pink, and Black!

This fun little square card was created by my fun and spunky team member, Gayle Luker! It might not show up perfectly in the photo, but Gayle used Clear Embossing Powder on one of the damask images in the top left corner of the black cardstock. Those Sparkles show it off beautifully!

Fellow Consultant Elizabeth Hawley created this sweet card…simple, yet pretty! Just my style!

This 6x6 card from Consultant Lynn Hart uses the super cute Crochet Flowers found in the White Daisy Mini-Medley Collection – fun touch, don’t you think!

This next card, created by Consultant Jennifer Cox, showcases our new 2” Scalloped Circle Punch. I LOVE this punch!

Finally, Karen Barber’s cute 6x6 card…brads from the new Pink Collection and those two little Bitty Sparkles are so fun!

Today I want to share a couple more pieces of artwork using the gorgeous February Stamp of the Month set, Friendship.

All of the cards shown below were created with that super cute Sophia kit – definitely my favorite in the new Idea Book!

This 6x6 card, created by fellow Consultant Janice Hodgkin just makes me smile! I love the damask images along the top creating a border, the bold Sweet Leaf ribbon, and the fun Clear Buttons!

This card was created by my talented team member, Kathy Wafer. I LOVE Kathy’s use of the damask image as a subtle background on the sentiment block. Nice touch! And of course, isn’t everything better with a little BLING? The three Sparkles along the bottom and the single Sparkle dotting the “I” add just the perfect finishing touch!

Finally, a card from my crafty team member Jill Belkin! Jill used the GORGEOUS new Bohemian Alphabet, lots of sponging and a sweet little knot to top it all off!
